House of Cards view from PM House

Many of my friends recommended to Watch House of Cards season NETFLIX, which finally I started watching and found it one of the most interest season. I can relate many things, e.g. office politics, adoptability and never giving up even under pressures.

My favorite characters of the season so far are Frank and his wife. They are really good actors and made season more interesting. Frank is with ability of turning challenges into opportunities and his wife is a wonderful support in his journey. She never behaves like typical woman; she is fully focused on her husband success.

So far I watched only 3 episodes of season 1, the total released episodes are 78 in 6 seasons. I truly become fan of it, I love the story and acting. The season started with situation that Frank made the president won election because he was aspiring for State Secretary position. Post elections President elect changed his mind and didn’t honor the promise. Frank was being offered Education Minister role instead of State Secretary. He was got shocked and upset on the offer, however he calmly accepted the offer to avoid losing his position in the party but he made strategy to make President elect’s life difficult. He made links with a new Journalist, who was struggling in making reputation because of being young and inexperienced.

 I have started relating the House of Cards story with our current Naya Pakistan political situation, as we are hearing rumors of ministers shuffling in near future by the Prime Minister. May be it’s the result of some internal politics in the party, which resulted in public concern over the party reputation and vision. Our new Prime Minister is highly ambitious and most of the times he sets unrealistic goals, then make them public by sharing during his interviews. This is the reason of being center of critics most of the times.
